If you regularly watch movies, you’ll know that sex works differently in movie-land to real life. In real life, you’ll have to deal with a range of problems that those fucking in the movies don’t seem to have to face at all. Why? Because movies contain plenty of sex lies.
We really wish sex worked like it does in the movies, but unfortunately, what we see on the big screen isn’t what happens in the bedroom. Movie sex is almost always clean and polished, unless you are watching a comedy. Real life sex can be awkward, clumsy, and sometimes just bad.

1. Foreplay is just kissing

Condoms are an essential of sex, but because this is movie-land, no-one has to worry about getting pregnant or catching an STI or STD… unless it is a part of the plot, and then they are screwed.
4. Lube also rarely appears
As with condoms, lube is yet another sex tool that we don’t see in movies other than comedies. You’ll see teens messing around with it, but how often do you see a man reaching over to the bedside table in the middle of sex in a film? You don’t, because in movies, the women are all automatically lubricated enough.
